Moulana Ismail Dawud

Moulana Ismail Dawud

Head Imam

Moulana Ismail was born in Bharkodra, India. He is from the first batch of students that enrolled at Darul Uloom Kantahria. After completing his Hifz and Ālimiyyah Course at Darul Uloom Kantharia, India in 1976, he went onto study further Hadith at the famous Islamic seminary of Darul Uloom Deoband. He has been involved in managing and teaching Maktab since then.

Moulana Ismail arrived to the UK in 1979. Since then, he has led the community of Quwwatul Islam with his inspirational leadership. He has been the head Imam of Quwwatul Islam for over 35 years! Alongside being an Imam, Moulana Ismail has also taught at our Madrassah for this duration of time. He has also taught our headteacher Moulana Khalid whilst he was still a young boy! He is an instrumental pillar of support and spiritual guidance for the community of Quwwatul Islam and beyond.
We pray Allah preserves him and continues to lengthen his shadow over us for years to come. Ameen.

Moulana Khalid ibrahim

Moulana Khalid ibrahim

Head teacher and coordinator

Moulana Khalid Ibrahim was born in Preston, U.K. He did his early studies in Deepdale primary school and Quwwatul Islam Madrasah. After primary school he studied at the auspicious seminary Jamitaul Ilm Wal Huda, Blackburn (UK) and graduated in 2005. He has ever since been involved in the management team at the darul uloom and Quwwat Education Centre. He is our Madrasah headteacher.

Since 2011, he has been involved in the establishment and coordinating of an Early Years provision for the local community named ‘Little Sparkles Nursery’. During this time, he has led our nursery to gain ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted inspections.

In addition to management, Moulana Khalid leads workshops and gives regular talks at Quwwatul Islam Masjid. He is also actively involved in charity work both nationally and internationally. He Is also the author of ‘A Child’s Gift’, a renowned Dua book for young Madrassah children.

Moulana Ahmad Omar

Deputy-Imam

 

Moulana Ahmad was Born in Bolton, U.K. He studied his Hifz at Jamea masjid and went onto complete his Alimiyyah course at prestigious institute Darul Uloom IDA (Liecester) and graduated in 2020.

Moulana Muhammad Kabir

Moulana Muhammad Kabir was born in Preston, U.K. He did his early studies in Deepdale primary school and Quwwatul Islam Madrasah. After primary school he studied at the auspicious seminary Jamitaul Ilm Wal Huda, Blackburn (UK) and graduated in 2017, he went onto study Primary Education with QTS at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.

Since 2017, he has been responsible for the Arabic Intensive at Quwwat Education Centre. He also delivers regular workshops and talks at Quwwatul Islam Masjid.
